About NSREN
Nepal Nursing Council (NNC) is an autonomous body formulated by the
Until Falun 2079, Nepal Nursing Council registered the specialist nurses of Nepal based merely on the verification of the certificates and documents. Guideline was then developed for conducting specialist registration examination as decided by the Nepal Nursing Council board held on Masher 18, 2079 to ensure the fulfillment of proficiency requirements of the nurses with specialization for registering them as specialist nurses.

Nepalese citizen with post graduate nursing qualification from Nepal
To meet the educational requirement for registration as a specialist professional nurse, the candidate must present satisfactory evidence of having completed post-graduate nursing program and must submit the documents as mentioned by the NNC.
Nepalese citizen with post graduate nursing qualification from other countries
Applicants, who have completed postgraduate(PG) nursing program from other countries, are required to have their equivalence certificate from the concerned government authority.
Applicants who have completed their PG program other countries with enrollment after October 2020 are required to submit eligibility certificate of Medical Education Commission, Sanothimi.
Applicants need to be graduated from the institute recognized from the respective nursing council or authorized government body and must submit the documents as mentioned by the NNC.
